<description>It definitely pays to check out different days when it comes to the newspaper-Wednesday is the day our local daily has food coupons. They are often different than the Sunday inserts. for this reason it is worth a subscription ($.50 a day + $1.25 Sunday=$4.25 newsstand price per week versus $2.50 per week subscription for all 7 days). On average, Wednesdays coupons net a savings (for the things I need and use) of $3.50 and Sundays coupons on average = $8.37. This is ON AVERAGE. Last week I actually saved $32.45 using the coupons and store card (which doubled most of the coupons). Not too bad considering the cost of daily subscription-not to mention I actually got daily news, comics, and advice columns! That $32.45 for 1 week versus $130 per YEAR for the daily delivered paper isn't a bad return-especially since this is not an isolated instance. The worst week of savings in the last year was $18.60!</description>
