Save Money on Groceries: Packaged Sandwich Meat or Deli?

Published by jenfoote at 11:55 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Do you enjoy having a cold sandwich? When buying your sandwich meat, where do you make the purchase from? What section of your grocery store do you visit?

As great as those neatly packaged sandwich meats look in the refrigerated section, you should be shopping at the deli if you want to save the most money. Most of the time, sandwich meat is cheaper there.

What it is also nice about buying sandwich meat from the deli is the choices that you should have. For example, my local grocery store has two types of turkey and three types of ham available for sale. More often than not, one is on sale.

Even though you may have to wait a few minutes to be serviced, the wait should be worth it.

I was VERY glad to see this. The budget crimping has me watching all aspects of trimming my spending! Thanks for the heads up on this!
Another plus is that you can buy how much you need for a month there (if bulk buying) I can freeze a weeks worth for later! That way I don’t get tired of the flavor and can change up the lunch bag!

How do I order the uncut meat itself? I have a meat slicer that I can use to cut it.
